EPV GIRL OF THE MONTH - Meet Tanika

Tanika - Coogee Beach, Sydney, Australia
This month, meet the lovely Tanika!  We caught up with her down by the beach and asked her a few questions....
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?
If not Australia, then France, because hey "No country life better on earth than the French". I am a Francophile (obsessed with anything French). When I did live there, what I loved most was their cuisine culture; everything made fresh everyday and food can only be sourced through local farmers markets, no big chain supermarkets. They have an incredible eye for style and everything on the map is beautiful with it's own character - cities, coastal life and countryside. It's just unbeatable.

What is your favourite meal to cook, and will you share the recipe with us?

A favourite of mine is Jamie Oliver's 'milk chicken'.
- a bunch of fresh sage leaves
- organic full cream milk
- 1 whole lemon
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic

1. Baste the chicken in olive oil and salt & pepper. Roast for half an hour at 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Take it out and pour a decent amount of milk all over it (half a cup), cover with fresh sage leaves, grated lemon zest, lemon juice and minced garlic.
3. Cook in oven at 180 degrees Celsius for another hour and 10 minutes, whilst tossing the chicken over halfway and then back, and adding milk when desired (this will give it a sticky caramel texture and zesty flavour).
- it sounds odd but trust me you'll love it!

If you were stuck on an island with an Eau Paix Vie bikini of your choice and another two items, what style would you pick and what would your two items be?

The Cabo Set, it's my favourite and the string could come in handy! And plus I would love those tan lines of an island get away ;)
My two items would be:
1. Coconut oil - for my skin, hair and to cook with.
2. Unfortunately it would have to be a knife, girl gotta eat and build a top fortress to have my beauty sleeps in.

If you had to choose - no snapchat or no instagram for a month?

Mmm that's tricky! I love both and use them so frequently. Okay maybe no snapchat, because I need Instagram for my online shopping and to keep updated with the latest!

What does your exercise plan look like and can you give us any tips?
Everyone's key concerns are different and motivation can be hard. That's when a plan comes in handy.
My key concerns are my stomach and butt, so my plan usually consists of 'donkey kicks' and 'Russian twists' to keep it all toned. To keep in shape I am always on top of my game with food, I know what I eat and how much of it. I eat icecream and chocolate too.. Don't get me wrong, but to feel tip top please eat locally and wholesomely!! It's not all about weight loss diets, it's just about nutrition. For tips, I use Jesinta.com.au - if anyone knows exercise it's that girl.

So you live in Coogee, in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, what are your favourite places to eat and have coffee there?

For coffee definitely The Wellness Centre, they have cold pressed coffee which tastes good and has longer lasting caffeine for better energy and it's good for your gut. And for food I love The Black Pony, I never budget on good food.
